Drinking at the Crown
The Crown bar with it’s beamed ceiling and roaring inglenook fireplace in winter, is a fine place to relax with friends and family. You are welcome to join us every Thursday evening for our Winter pub quiz from 8:30pm onwards.
Real Ales
The Crown has an excellent reputation for serving fine ales and has been recognised with the Cask Marque accreditation for quality. Ales regularly change and there are between four and six available. Regular favourites are the inn’s “Golden Crown Bitter” and Greene King IPA. Guest ales are sourced from all over the UK and some examples include Timothy Taylor, Exmoor Gold and Caledonian Deuchars to name but a few.
Wines
All wines at The Crown is supplied by Corney and Barrow - Vinters to HM The Queen. Four whites and four reds are served by the glass plus sparkling and rose.
The Crown also serves a large selection of lagers and spirits as well as soft drinks.
