About Our Accommodation

Our first two bedrooms are now open in the courtyard - The Fotheringhay Room and the Nene room. Two further bedrooms in the Thatched Inn will be opened by the end of April 2008. Please call us for a brochure and tariff.

Fotheringhay Room

The Fotheringhay Room is named after a nearby village where Mary Queen of Scots was executed at Fotheringhay castle.

Nene Room

Named after the River Nene that flows through Elton and was reputedly the setting of the children’s tale, “The Wind in the Willows”. Nowadays it is one of the most beautiful pleasure boating rivers in England and is popular with ramblers alike.
