Drinking at the Crown
The Crown bar with it's beamed ceiling and roaring inglenook fireplace in Winter, is a fine place to relax with friends and family. The third Monday in the month is, 'Open Mic Night' which always has a popular turnout. Please note that dogs are welcome at the bar.Real Ales
The Crown has an excellent reputation for serving fine ales and has been recognised with the Cask Marque accreditation for quality. Ales regularly change and there are between four and six available. Regular favourites are the inn's "Golden Crown Bitter" and Greene King IPA. Guest ales are sourced from all over the UK and some examples include Timothy Taylor, Exmoor Gold and Caledonian Deuchars to name but a few.
